Drone Laws in Brunei
Drone regulations and links for people flying drones in Brunei.
Brunei Drone Regulations
All drones, whether used for personal or commercial purposes, must be registered with the Department of Civil Aviation Brunei. The only exceptions are toy drones and drones brought by foreigners during transit or a short stay in Brunei, which do not require registration. Take a look at this link for the do’s and don’ts and the information needed to register your drone.

When leaving the country you’ll need to de-register your drone and complete the De-registration Form.

Know something we don’t about drone laws in Brunei? Send us an email at support[at]horizonap[dot]com. We are not international aviation attorneys and do our best to keep this page up-to-date for drone pilots, but the reality is that given the pace of the small unmanned aerial system (sUAS) industry and how governments are responding, drone regulations in Brunei can change throughout the year, and those changes can be hard to track. If we missed something, please reach out to let us know.
