This cinewhoop of The Star—the Dallas Cowboys’ headquarters and practice facility in Frisco, Texas—first appeared on HBO’s sports series Hard Knocks, and soon went viral. This single-shot fly through of the football team’s sprawling HQ took 15 tries to get right, and you can see why when you watch it. The video is over three minutes long, which is an eternity for a single shot like this, and shows you the entirety of the massive 91-acre facility—you don’t have to be a football fan to enjoy the smooth, expert flying and high quality imagery featured here.

Hubsan Teases Prosumer Drone in New Video
In this video entitled “A tribute to video studio workers,” Hubsan teases the launch of a new prosumer drone that it says will be “Beyond your imagination.” The new drone will come with a “handheld shooting effect” that captures 1080p video at 30 fps, as well as 360° obstacle avoidance enabled by six sets of visual sensors. The price tag for Hubsan’s new drone will be $1,299, according to the video. Some speculate that it will come with a micro 4/3″ CMOS sensor, which could make it a competitive option for videographers looking for high quality camera drones that can perform well in low-light scenarios.

Researchers Use Drones to Help Save Endangered Plants in Hawaii

In this video cheekily called “Indiana Drones and the Islands of Extinction,” VICE News documents the work of botanists in Hawaii to protect endangered plants. Drones are a crucial part of this work, helping the researchers locate these rare plants so they can be protected. Given its remote location, many of the plants that live on the Hawaiian islands are incredibly rare, and don’t live anywhere else in the world. The video is worth watching just for its incredible aerial shots of these beautiful green islands.

Wing Launches Mall-to-Home Drone Delivery Program in Australia

Google has launched a new drone delivery service in Queensland, Australia that allows people to make orders directly from a nearby mall. Deliveries take about 10-15 minutes on average, with the quickest delivery on record so far coming in at two minutes and 47 seconds. The new delivery program uses space on the roof of the mall to fulfill orders, cutting out the need for a distribution center. Since the program launched six weeks ago it’s already made 2,500 deliveries of goods like sushi, coffee and ice cream.

New Report Shows How COVID-19 Has Impacted the Drone Industry
