Loch Ness Monster Spotted in 4K Drone Footage

A British man on a paddling trip to raise money for charity may have captured drone footage of the Loch Ness monster. Richard Mavor didn’t even notice the giant underwater shape when he first posted the footage to his YouTube account—it was only when someone commented “4 mins waters edge, the ripples look like Nessie,” that he began looking into it. He was skeptical at first, but the more he reviewed the footage, the more he couldn’t find another explanation for what he was seeing. Could he have captured proof of the Loch Ness Monster’s existence?

Miami Dolphins Join Cinewhoop Craze with Video Showing Tour of Training Complex

At just over three minutes, this cinewhoop shot at the Miami Dolphins’ training complex is on the longer side for the genre, but it’s well worth watching the whole thing. In smooth, expertly piloted shots the video takes us on a full tour of the complex, starting outside its doors, going over the football field, and then zooming through the complex’s offices. Police Find Elderly Missing Man with Help of Drone
Police used a drone recently to find an elderly man at night in Pueblo, Colorado. The man had gone missing from a senior living facility. He was last seen at 10 p.m., and police were worried that he might not make it through the night if they couldn’t find him. According to police, the drone was crucial in the search effort. In a statement, the Pueblo Police Department said, “The use of the drone proved to be invaluable, as the male was approximately 300 yards from the road in thick vegetation.”

Sony’s First Drone, the Airpeak S1, Is Now Available for Pre-Order
Sony’s new Airpeak S1—the company’s very first drone—is now available for pre-order in Japan, with pre-orders opening up soon in the U.S. The drone has been making headlines since it was first unveiled at CES at the start of this year. The Airpeak S1 will sell for somewhere between $9,000 and $10,000, but this price tag is just for the drone. According to what we’ve read, the gimbal, lens, and camera will all require additional purchases.
