FAA Releases Much-Anticipated Rules on Remote ID and Flying at Night/Over People
This week the FAA announced the release of two new rules, one on Remote ID and one on flying over people.

Iris Automation and Flyability Close Out 2020 with Successful Fundraising Rounds

Some good news on the VC funding front came out just as the year was winding to a close. Iris Automation, maker of collision-avoidance technology to enable BVLOS operations, has raised $13 million in a Series B fundraising round. And Flyabilty, maker of the Elios 1 and 2 drones for indoor inspections, successfully raised 7 million Euros (about $8.5 million U.S.) in a Series C fundraising round.
